Coming out of Retirement...

Floyd "Money Makin" Mayweather Jr. the welterweight champ and pound-for-pound king until retiring last June, will officially end his retirement on Saturday. His next fight will be this summer, July 18 on HBO PPv at the MGM Grand against Juan Manuel Marquez. Mayweather hasn't boxed since knocking out Ricky Hatton in a December 2007. Floyd has had some trouble in the past with counterfeit money. He was a a strip club and was throwing out fake 100 dollar bills. He stated that he didn't know that they were counterfeit. Mayweather had wanted the fight to be at 145 pounds, but Marquez the smaller man coming up from the 135- pound division where he is champion wanted the weight as low as possible. The Deal was finalized Friday afternoon which took 6 hours to come up with a weight. They cant come in over 144 pounds. Mayweather (39-0, 25 KOs), turned 32 in February, told his advisers that they were free to listen to fight offers. Mayweather Sr. who is Hatton's trainer, told media members that his son will return to the ring. The winner of this fight could possibly go against the winner of the fight tonight between Hatton-Pacquiao.
